The Institute of JAR is Jamaica's leading skills training and entrepreneurship school dedicated to empowering women to become financially and socially independent. We are registered with The Ministry of Education in Jamaica and pride ourselves with providing students centered learning experience created by our competent facilitators. The institute of JAR has expanded its reach to offer courses in other Caribbean country achieving our Goal to becoming a regional Brand.
Meet the Founder/ Principal Director
Jannel Alexander-Reid
A passionate and dynamic educator and entrepreneur who believes in empowering all human beings to maximize on their full potential. Jannel holds a Masters in Educational Leadership and Management and in 2022 represented Jamaica as Young Leader of Americas and the Caribbean.
A transformational leader that uses skills training and entrepreneurship to empower women to become financially and socially independent. A lover of nature who loves all things natural. Jannel loves children as well as working with them to maximize their talent. She is a motivational speaker who empower and individuals to become the best version of self. A rotarian who lives by Roman 8v28.
